Today I got tickets to see They Might Be Giants perform their album "Here Comes Science" at the Southbank Centre at the end of June.  It's hard to pick a favourite song, I really like "The Elements" & "The Bloodmobile", but I think my favouite is:

I am going to get paid on Tuesday, just not properly (damn evil emergency tax!).  Which is a royal pain in the arse, but it could be worse.  I am actually going to have to email the girls at home and tell them that I can't afford to do Christmas presents.  I'll probably do the same deal with our Luke aswell.  He's going to France snowboarding on ( Read more... )

Matthewman rung me in work today to tell me he'd seen both Simon Amstell and Matthew Holness in London today on his dinner break.  First Dave Brown & Matt Berry at Booshfest, now this?!?  He is spying all the beautiful men in the world and mocking me with them...  He'll be having afternoon tea with The Horrors next.
